Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The Best item upgrader method to improve your gear in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This lets you improve it without having to rely on expensive trades or drops. This article will show you how to upgrade your gear.

Upgrades to equipment provide a bonus to the item's base stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your armour and weapons better. You can locate them through destroying enemies, buying them from karma vendors or finding them in item-spheres. They can also be rescued from equipment that has them, or through a high-tier salvage kit like the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Upgrade components aren't destroyed when they are removed from an item.

Upgrade components are mostly used to upgrade an item but they can also be used for other purposes. They can be used to increase the level of an item that can be upgraded or they can be used to boost the experience gained by upgrading an existing weapon or piece of gear.
